Entrance to cemetery of San Giovanni in Biagi. The remains of Pietro his wife Rosa and his son Annebale Silvestroni are buried.

However I could not locate them, If they were buried in ground the small metal croses identifying grave sites does not have any markings as to who is buried in each plot.

All the above markers are rusted and there is no other marking to identify the plot. The custodian told me,no records were kept as who is placed in each plot. This cemetary also contain above ground honeycomb tombs.

Baptismal records are kept in at the Bishop’s Archives and you must have a priest provide you entrance to these records.

Don Quinto Domizi pastor of S. Pietro of Biagi helped me gain entrance and took time to locate some of my ancestors.

Frist you must look into an index book, index book is not complete, to locate the family name and this directs you to the right book. Then you page through until you locate the family name.
